Hi, I’m Ishwar

Indian National Coach with an extended knowledge of varied sports and also skilled to teach them. Basketball is my core game. Versatility and Passion well describes me. I am a Physical Education Teacher at ITL PUBLIC SCHOOL, New Delhi, India and also a practicing Head Coach at IB SPORTS ACADEMY, New Delhi, India. With 15 years of professional experience, I have been an interim member of sports committees and also have organized a number of events namely:
 

• CBSE Basketball/ Football/ Cricket Zonal Tournament by Directorate of Education

• CBSE Basketball Tournament Cluster-12

• FIBA 3X3 Basketball Tournaments

• Wheel Chair Cricket Match- India vs. Bangladesh

• District/ State level tournaments

• Basketball official at the Basketball Federation of India
   

The remarkable student performance had bagged various accolades. The Student participation at the ‘Asian Continental Games 2017’ by the International Sports Council held at Thailand, we bagged three gold in U-19 category. Representation at National Level with student selection in Delhi Basketball Team as National Basketball players and student recipient of ‘Khelo India Programme’ organised by the Sports Ministry of India.

For been a Youth mentor and detailed organizational skills I have been honoured with the 'Outstanding Physical Education Teacher Award 2017' and also the prestigious 'Best Coach' title during the Reliance Foundation Jr. NBA held in China.
Apart from my professional background, my interest in Volunteering and Community involvement, Games and Sports, Traveling, Music, Reading and exploring opportunities for the best of my interest keeps me motivated for enhancing my skills.

IB SPORTS ACADEMY: For many India’s young Hoopsters, my academy is serving an out-of-the-box classroom sessions. The primary goal of the Academy is to raise the level of Basketball and improve India’s performance internationally across various age groups.
